I am an Eventaholic! Born in the summer, there were no big birthday celebrations. No parties in the classroom. No birthday party filled with school mates. It was just me and the 4 neighbor kids swimming in our above-ground pool like every other day in the summer. Except, we got ice cream and cake. I learned at a young age that if I was going to have a big party, I would have to do it myself. 

 

That was the beginning of the journey to becoming an Event Producer. I continued to hone my craft and after 30+ years I produced hundreds of events for the corporate, entertainment, banking and healthcare industries. I spent the last 10 years focusing on entrepreneurs. After all that time, I realized I had a unique view of speakers. I have the view from the back of the room of thousands of speakers; the good and the not-so-good. The Academy4Speakers was born. I realized I wanted to help speakers understand the business end of speaking on stage. That there are rules and processes that no one teaches. You don't know what you don't know.
